Genévrier is situated in the Lot Valley in the midst of the Parc Natural Régional des Causses du Quercy, near the confluence of the Lot and Célé rivers.

The lovely and charming capital of the Lot, Cahors, is a leisurely forty minutes drive west along the wonderfully scenic river valley road.

It is approximately nine hours driving time from Calais; and now the A20 is fully open past Cahors, all but the last twenty minutes of the journey can be driven on the autoroutes.

Toulouse airport is about a 90 minutes drive, whilst the airports at Carcasonne and Limoges are both around two hours.

Rodez airport is the closest at around an hour.
